About Me

Maxfactormama is my makeup business name which came about because I am involved in doing film and theatre makeup (hence the Max Factor reference) and I’m a mother of three grown up kids. I also feel a bit like the mum on set for the film I’ve been involved in! My other nickname on the Elindil’s Secret film set is “Louise” after Jen Wood and I took the massive road trip together to Bega for a weekend shoot - after taking tumbles on the slippery rockslides as well as our legendary driving performances we became known as “Thelma & Louise”.

I am married with three great kids – Matt 28, Rowena 25, Cat 22. Andy is my partner and he is also my best friend! We have 3 dogs – Sooty, a 13 yr old malteseX who is rapidly becoming a GOF (grumpy old fart!) , our 5 yr old Siberian Husky, Molly and the latest addition – Cooper, another Sibe. They are a handful at times but otherwise provide us with endless entertainment!

I work fulltime in a hospital in a consultative role, facilitating discharge plans/services for patients. My training as an Occupational Therapist has given me a good background for this type of work and I find it very rewarding (most of the time, except for the odd days here & there!!)
