Is there life after Elindil’s Secret?
Back into blogging after taking a break. If I thought life was busy doing makeup for film and stage, I just got a whole new perspective on what it means to be busy after trying to relocate parents into an aged care facility! Working in the health industry has given me a few clues about how to navigate through the maze of the Aged Care System but it has felt like I have been a case manager 24/7 for the last 6 months! Now that we have some more “spare” time I have been looking into doing some further study – looking at Makeup courses and working out what area I need to upskill in. What I would really like to do is to take a year off work and do the full Diploma ……… not going to happen! Seeing the most recent release of footage from “Elindil’s Secret” from director Luke Oliver, I am reminded of the great times we shared as a group and all the “fun” times slogging up mountains with my makeup kit, balancing on slippery rocks trying to apply special effects products with frozen fingers! LOL Apparently we now have some pick up shots still to do, so I think we’ll be waiting just a bit longer for the final result.
