Shifting into gear again!
As December approaches faster than I would want, it’s time to gear up for the Christmas Mayhem – namely, Makeup for the Careforce Production, making Gingerbread Houses and preparing to host the family Christmas dinner at our place.
This week has been busy enough with doing promotional photo shoots for the upcoming Christmas Production – “The Spear and the Star”. So far it has looked quite effective and even though we haven’t put in all the details for makeup, the characters are looking most effective.
On top of that, I accepted an invitation to participate in a local Primary School’s Arts Day – just because my diary wasn’t booked heavily enough! LOL
Friday I will be heading up into the Yarra Valley to do some makeup demo’s for the school children and looking forward to getting some willing volunteers who want to be “scarred”, “bruised”, “wounded”, made to look 70yrs old, all the fun stuff! I will also be showing some of the makeup pictures from my work on the “Elindil’s Secret” film project and talking about what it was like to work on the film set (without giving away any secrets!)
